This course emphasizes generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP) as they relate to business and personal financial understanding and skills. Students will explore the use manual and computerized financial business records, payroll accounting and inventory accounting. This course includes an introduction to commonly used accounting software applications. Skills taught are beneficial to every individual whether for personal use, career skills or entrepreneurial endeavors.
