Leadership Presentation

In this project, you are going to choose a leadership topic (s) and create a 3 to 5 minute presentation about its importance and how it can be applied to make you a better leader.

Requirements for your presentation:
  1. Have a good opening and ending for your presentation -- something that will hook the audience. (Best presentation opening)
  2. Include a video or audio clip into your presentation:
    • Include video or audio of an interview with someone who exemplifies the quality/qualities that you are presenting (1-2 min). If your video is 2 minutes long, I would expect your presentation to be closer to 5 minutes long
    • Include a short (1-2 minute) video or audio clip about the leadership quality you are presenting.
  3. Do not just read your slides. Look at the audience!
  4. Do not include lots of information on your slides. Information should be easy to see and should not distract from your presentation.
  5. Make your presentation interesting. Focus on the story you want to tell (How to give an awesome presentation)
  6. Cover your topic fully. Demonstrate that you have a good understanding of the leadership quality (s) and present some specific ways that it can be applied to help the audience become better leaders. The purpose of your speech is to Inform the audience about the leadership quality, but to also Persuade & Motivate them to take action.
