Website with over 35 local Scholarships offered only to Caldwell School Students
Go to www.CFEO.org and select the "Students" tab on the left to begin the process of registering.  It will take at least 15 - 30 minutes to complete and you will need an email address and your Caldwell Student ID number.  You have to apply for each Scholarship individually so choose wisely to maximize your efforts.
Will Open March 1st, 2025 The Lightfoot Foundation Scholarship Program $1000 +
Seniors: The Foundation supports students in the Treasure Valley who wish to further their education.  Application require recommendations, transcripts, and tax forms to be submitted.  Will only review the first 500 applicants.  So apply early!

April 15th, 2025 Patrick O'Connor Memorial Scholarship $1,000
Only for Caldwell High School and Canyon Springs High School graduating seniors. Print out the Application and bring the completed application to the CHS counseling office before the due date.

2. Be a graduating senior of a Canyon/Owyhee County high school including homeschool
programs.
3. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
4. Demonstrate a commitment to community service.
5. Accepted as a full-time student in any post-secondary education institution.
6. Attend the first semester of college following high school graduation.

April 15, 2025 Bryle C. Morse Scholarship Award  $$$ Awarded annually to graduating seniors from Caldwell High School who will attend the College of Idaho. Bring application to CHS counseling office - Ms. Stockdale before due date.

March 10th, 2025 YMCA Civic Engagement Scholarship  Varies Please submit the complete application to the CHS Counseling office by March 10th to be considered. This award is not based on athletic or academic achievement. The amount of the award is based on merit and influenced by need. The primary criteria for determining the award is the student’s demonstrated commitment to working within our communities to bring about a positive change. This commitment can take the form of individual volunteerism, electoral participation and issue advocacy, a combination of these, or engagement in other ways. Volunteering for a single organization or service in order to receive school credit or fulfill a different requirement is generally not enough to win this award.
While all seniors of public, private, charter or parochial high schools in the areas served by the Boise, West Ada, Caldwell, Vallivue, and Nampa School Districts are eligible, there is a limit of one applicant per school accepted. The signature of a counselor is required.
 
January 27th, 2025 YMCA  Y-Not Go On Scholarship $10,000 (renewable) Please submit the complete application to the CHS Counseling office by January 27th, 2025 to be considered. The purpose of this scholarship is to allow a student who otherwise would not be able to access higher education to attend school and focus on their studies full-time.  This award is for graduating high school seniors who have a significant financial need, who demonstrate a strong capacity for achieving their academic goals, and who embody the YMCA’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Applicants must attend either a public, private, charter or parochial high school in the areas served by the Boise, West Ada, Caldwell, Vallivue, and Nampa School Districts. There is a limit of one applicant per school accepted. The signature of a counselor is required.
June 30, 2025 Elk Mountain Tents Outdoors Enthusiast Scholarship $500 Applicants must be registered to attend college, University or Tech School for the fall term. GPA 2.5 or higher, share a love for the great outdoors.
 
 
IDAHO/TREASURE VALLEY SCHOLARSHIPS 
March 1,2025 Idaho Opportunity Scholarship up to $3,500

Must have a 2.7 GPA or higher, be an Idaho resident, complete your FAFSA, and attend an Idaho College.

Varies Idaho Community Foundation  Varies  ICF manages over 60 different scholarship funds - each customized according to the desires of the fund creator. Each has it's own eligibility criteria, application requirements, and review process. Many have their own applications, and eligibility requirements.

March 1st, 2025 Idaho Power’s Douglas E. Sprenger, Kevin M. Whittier and Larry R. Wimer Memorial Scholarship Fund $1000 (2)
For students planning to enroll in engineering or natural resources programs at an accredited college, university or vocational-technical school in Idaho. These awards are granted on a one-time basis and are not renewable. Application requirements are included in the application form. 
March 1st, 2025 Idaho Power Technical Scholarship $2,000 (2)
Two $2,000 scholarships are available for students planning to enroll in an accredited Idaho technical school program. Applicants must have a minimum 2.75 GPA or a GED certificate. The submission deadline is March 1, 2024, and application requirements are included in the application form. HERE
