COURSE DESCRIPTION
Chemistry is the study of matter and matter's interactions. Students will learn about chemical formulas, reactions, stoichiometry, states of matter, acids/bases, equilibrium, electrochemistry, atomic structure, molecular structure, VSEPR theory, and nuclear chemistry.
Students will also learn proper lab techniques and gain valuable lab skills.
GRADING PROCEDURE
A - > 90%
B - 89 - 80 %
C - 79 - 70 %
D - 69 - 60 %
F - < 59 %
The semester is graded continuously and the semester final is worth 10% of the final semester grade.
